Nuffield Health approached Survey Solutions following their acquisition of the Cannons chain of fitness centres as part of their strategy to offer holistic and preventative healthcare services from within the fitness marketplace. The core requirement was for regular monthly measurement of customer satisfaction levels across a number of key service aspects related to membership of a health and fitness centre. However, the ambitions of Nuffield Health management went far beyond the reporting back of just results alone. The aim was to develop a solution that encouraged a proactive approach to customer service and member communications, where all parts of the organisation could build on quantitative feedback as well as in many cases verbal personal feedback from their members through the satisfaction programme. Learning’s would thereafter be shared not only within isolated fitness centres but openly and honestly across the entire estate.
