We have developed and run tailored 360 degree feedback
programmes for many organisations including Google, Investors
in People UK, Southern Co-operatives, Department of Health,
the NHS, and Norton Rose. Competency questionnaires have
ranged from as few as 6 items/indicators, to as many as
120.
Statements or 'indicators' are grouped under a number of subject headers, often referred to as Competencies. Assessors or raters are then invited to rate the perceived quality or frequency of observed behaviours, for example: Competency : Develops People
Indicator : Takes time out to coach people
in new skills
Frequency Rating scale:
Always/ Regularly / Sometimes / Rarely / Never
OR
Quality Rating Scale:
Excellent / Very good / OK / Poor/ Very poor
Some organisations ask for our help to construct a suitable
set of indicators, perhaps after they have developed a set
of core values that they expect managers and employees to
adhere to. We are always delighted to help with this - our
consultants are skilled HR and research professionals, with
many years’ experience in setting up and managing
appraisal systems.
