Miles Couchman, Managing Director

Miles held Board level and Director positions with P&O immediately prior to starting Survey Solutions way back in 1993. His professional experience covers marketing, sales, business and new product development, plus line management experience for up to 100 people. Holds an MBA from Middlesex University.

Describes himself as a ‘reluctant statistician’ who has always been more interested in what the numbers mean, rather than what they say!

Enjoys travelling, writing, golf, and sailing his very old boat up and down the Thames.

Alison Young, Deputy Managing Director/Project Director

Alison enjoyed a successful career in HR and Change Management with Shell, before joining Survey Solutions in 1997. She has a focus on providing direction to employee research projects and those customer research projects that have a strong emphasis on consultancy input. Alison has led projects for many clients including Wincanton, Nuffield Health, the University of London and Aldi.

Enjoys collecting and trading antiques, travelling and gardening.

Suzanne Pullen, Research Director/Project Director

Suzanne is a graduate of University of Kent with a BA (Hons) in Accounting with Computing, and is a chartered member of CIPD.

Her first career was with British Airways plc, where she worked in a variety of roles covering HR Management, IT Project Management, Process Management and Software Development. She has also led the Training and Development function and commissioned employee research for international IT services provider Amadeus Services.

Since joining Survey Solutions in 2005, Suzanne has been Project Director for many employee survey and 360 degree feedback projects, including those for Investors in People UK, CIPD, the General Medical Council, AQA, Screwfix, a variety of law firms and Harrods. Clients value her ability to relate to their issues and the insightful reports and presentations that she delivers.

Laurent Cargill, Operations & Systems Director

Laurent is a very talented developer and data analyst who is skilled to an advanced level in a wide arrange of technologies and programming languages. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s web application development and also the data capture and data processing operations. He manages a team of analysts and IT developers. Laurent joined Survey Solutions in 2001 and became a Director in 2006.
